Timeline Motion Tween in Flash
Using timeline we can create two types of tweeded animation. They are: Motion Tween and Shape Tween.
Motion/Shape Tween creation with the help of timeline is considered to be the basics of Flash.
What is Motion Tween? This is just tweening a movement of a Symbol from one location into another.
To start work, point out to Flash the initial and final position of the Symbol. Let the Flash do all the rest. It is really not difficult.
To demonstrate how it works, we can convert the pencil (any object you like, e.g. Pen, brush, etc) into a Symbol. Just after providing Flash with the starting and finishing points, all the middle work – tweening – is done by Flash.
From now you are fairy ready to get to know more, the only thing is, please, folllow our suggestions step by step.
Necessary info for you:
-- you should have Flash Player 7.0. installed to view Flash animation
-- you should install Flash MX 2004 to be able to download the .fla file.
So, the steps to follow are:

You can create your own object, choosing one of the tools: either Rectangular or Oval tool and create your own shape.
5.For now select your object on the stage, to convert the image into a Symbol you should press F8. You will see Convertion to Symbol window which will pop-up.
Type the name for your Symbol.Select Graphic behavior, to finish the action press OK.
Please, remember, you can work only with Symbols, that is why it is important to convert any object to a symbol, and only after that you are able to implement motion tween.
6.You have a Symbol in Frame 1; select frame 20, press F6. This will help to insert a new keyframe.
7.Beeing in frame 20 move your Symbol to any position you like, but it should differ from the present one.
8.Now select any frame between 2 and 19. Select Motion from the tween pop-up menu in the Property inspector. See the picture below, you will have something like this:
9.To view your motion tween, press Ctrl+Entrer.
Enjoy the result!
