Three Advises to Builld Up a Successful Site
For all those years of my WWW experience I have been surfing numerous websites and still wonder whether all the 'masterpieces' that we roll over time to time, bring profit to their creators. Even in the 21st century there are some uncomplete results of evolution in web development industry: they have the powerful tool of advertising but do not know how to use it.
So, let's draw out the simpliest tutorial. It would not be some extraordinary set of rules and regulations, but just a couple advises of good sense.
Think over some common details for developing a profitable website:
1. Make your site easy to catch up. A simple stylish menu will do. Try to avoid an overwhelming amount of graphics annoying the visitor's eye. The least number of links and banners will allow to get into the main context. Try to build a laconic logical structure explaining the main points of your services or advantages of your product. In sum, speak on your subject.
2. Will you buy a car only being attracted by its name? I won't. And so do other customers visiting a site, trying to find some product features described and failing. Visitors need information. About you and your product. And to make them buy your product you need your information be complete and persuasive. Attract them, get them involved, and persuade them.
3. As they are in and ready, let them buy. Make the purchase available. It's better to avoid credit card payments as most customers do not like to show up with their card numbers as they believe that to be unsecure (or they just do not have one!). You'd better place some printable or downloadable order form so they just send you cheques. They got their gifts and you got your money. Will they try your easy-to-do and friendly website once more?
Go ahead and you will see.
Enjoy the result!
