Add Shadows to Objects

People and Objects will look more real on your pictures if they drop shadows. Let's learn how to make them.

Take an image with figure (we got the dog) and place it on any background. Make sure that dog and background are different layers of your Photoshop document.

Duplicate the dog layer and place it beneath the original one. Press CTRL+U to make the figure black and change the lightness;

Go to Edit>Transform>Disort and arrange the shadow as you like;

Choose Edit>Blur>Gaussian Blur of 2-4 pixels;

Decrease the Opacity level and it's ready.

Enjoy the results!
