Create an object rotation

 

In this lesson we will create a simple rotation of an object.

 

Important:
You need to have  Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and flash player 7 installed.


1.Create a new document by pressing  Ctrl+N or  using menu File/New.
2.Change scene size to 300*300  and set Frame Rate to  24

 

 

 

3. Enter the layer name: rectangle

 

 

4. Draw a square on a first frame using Rectangle Tool (R). Make its size 100*100  and fill it with standard blue color (#0066FF).

 

 

5. Having the object selected convert it to symbol using F8 key and name it  mc_rectangle.

 

 

Important: The  Registration should be adjusted properly. Set it exactly to the center.

 

6. Move cursor to 50th frame of timeline and press  F5.
7. Locate key frame at the 50th frame and add Motion Tween.

 

8. Move cursor to the first frame and adjust the following settings: Rotation: CWtimes = 1

 

 

CW -  clockwise rotation                                                              
CCW – contraclockwise rotation
times
–  object rotation frequency within one timeline passing out.
