How to create a simple solid
Create a new document 400x400 with white background.
Make a selection using Ellipse-tool (located under Type tool) and draw an ellipse holding Shift key pressed. Create a new layer and fill the selection with green colour.
Apply the following filters to the layer:
- Layer>Layer Style>Inner Glow filter with these settings:
- Layer>Layer Style>Inner shadow
- Layer>Layer Style>Bevel and Emboss
- And a shadow filter: Layer>Layer Style>Drop shadow
You should get such a picture:
Make the layer selection, create a new layer and fill it with white colour.
Erase the lower layer using Eraser Tool and apply Overlay.
There you are!
