Shape tween
You can create two types of tweened animation using timeline. They are Motion Tween and Shape Tween.
Motion/Shape tween creation using timeline is the essentials of Flash.
With the tweening shapes you will create an effect akin to morphing, making one shape emerge into another shape over time. With Flash you can tween not only shapes, but their size, location, and color.
Please, make sure that you have:
1.An installed Flash Player 7.0 to observe the Flash animation.
2.An installed Flash MX 2004 to download the .fla file.
Let's see step by step how to create a simple shape tween.
1.Press Ctrl+N, now you have a new file. After New document window appeared, select General panel and there choose Type: Flash Document. Press OK.
2.To open your timeline window press Ctrl+Alt+T.
3.You will see a single Layer called “Layer 1” in the timeline Window.
4.Select the first frame and go to your working space. There you can draw any object you like. To begin with, it can be a circle. It can be your initial object.
5.To insert a new keyframe, select frame 10 and press F6.
6.Still keeping playhead on frame 20, delete the object existing in your working area. Draw an object different from your first one. Instead of a circle let it be a square. We have chosen a long line for the demonstration.
7.Select any frame between 2 and 19 and choose Shape from the tween pop-up menu in the Property inspector. Your frame should look like on the picture below.
8.To view your motion tween press Ctrl+Enter.
Simple shape tween is an excellent opportunity to make masterpiece, believe us.
Enjoy the result!
